What is a Rainbow Rose ? How a Rainbow Rose is created

If you're a rose lover, you probably know already that roses can serve a variety of functions, and are not limited to sitting in flower beds looking pretty, though that surely remains their most popular use.

Rose petals that glow in the dark? Would you believe? Would you want them for your wedding? And where is the romance when they force the virginal white rose to drink dye from numerous colored dye bowls creating a single rose with rainbow petals But people do like to see these rainbow colored roses and they do love them.

Rainbow roses are made only from special roses called Vendela Rose because its the only cultivar that absorbs all the different colours perfectly.

These roses need to be created a few days before so that there colors do be seen in full. The rainbow rose is available with different color combinations. The most popular is the variant with all the colors of the rainbow. There are also the tropical variant with combinations of red/pink and yellow, and the ocean variant with combinations of green and blue .Other color combinations are also possible, though black and white is impossible to make.

As petals get their nourishment through stem, the idea is to split the stem into several channels and dip each one in a different colored water. This way all the colors will be drawn by the stem into petals and resultant rose will have all the colors in it. The same method can be applied to other flowers especially to Chrysanthemum and Hydrangea.
